Infographic of Dun Laoghaire’s Business Population launched at the DLBA Garden Party

The Dargan Institute clg, Dún Laoghaire partnered with Trinity's E3 Masters in Smart & Sustainable Cities to map the business composition of Dún Laoghaire Town. The area they mapped ran from People’s Park to Dun Laoghaire College of Further Education on Cumberland Street, from north to south from Queen’s Road to Patrick’s Street junction with Cross Avenue.

The purpose of the infographic is to -

  1. Provide a marketing document for the Dun Laoghaire Business Association to send to commercial estate agents and businesses considering Dun Laoghaire as a potential location.

  2. To join the existing 3 guides on DunLaoghaireTown.ie (i.e. Historic Walking Tour, Murals Tour and Hidden in Plain Sight) as a 4th key element of the town’s composition, that of the businesses located here.

  3. To be an asset to use in the online debates that portray Dun Laoghaire as a bad business destination, it will help make the positive case to multiple negative posts about the shopping offering of the town.

The infographic was designed by local company Brennan & Stevens

The content and concept was by Eoin Costello, Dargan Institute clg
