About the DLBA inaugural Retail Summit
Dun Laoghaire is undergoing rapid change. The DLBA are actively working to help local retailers respond positively to the opportunities and threats facing retail in Dun Laoghaire over the coming years.
The DLBA decided to run a retail summit to have a county wide appeal (i.e. not to be solely Dun Laoghaire focussed) with the goals of -
1. To act as a base for launching the new DLBA Retail Strategy that the Dargan Hub, Dun Laoghaire and the DLBA are working on.
2. Encouraging local retailers to embrace best practice and technology.
3. A key goal of this event is to get people in the town and beyond in the one place at the one time talking to each other to create new connections and collaborations.
4. A platform for inviting businesses not in Dun Laoghaire yet to come and see what the town has to offer, this is the reason the summit chose to have a county wide appeal.
5. Highlight the range of services and supports that DLR County Council and DLR LEO provide to local businesses to sustain their growth.
The retail summit is brought to you by Dún Laoghaire Business Association as a part of DLR LEO Local Enterprise Week
It is supported by Dun Laoghaire Rathdown County Council and DLR Local Enterprise Office
